Bend’s Golf Community Tees Off for Breast Cancer Awareness

The BCAT Committee, Tetherow staff, and Tournament Sponsor The Ladd Group are proud to welcome you to the 11th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Tournament (BCAT) on Tuesday, October 7, from 8 AM to 2 PM at Tetherow Golf Club in Bend, Oregon.

A Community Tradition Since 2014

What began in 2014 as a small group of breast cancer survivors sharing their stories over golf and lunch has grown into one of Bend’s most meaningful community events. Those early conversations revealed how important staying active and connected was during treatment and recovery, sparking the creation of BCAT.

Supporting Sara’s Project

Since its inception, the tournament has raised vital funds for the St. Charles Foundation Sara’s Project, which provides breast cancer education, early detection resources, and patient support across Central Oregon. Thanks to the generosity of sponsors, participants, and donors, BCAT has become a cornerstone event, offering both hope and tangible support for families impacted by breast cancer.
